The body and wing are formed from poly yarn fibres held in a loop of copper wire and welded at one end near a flame. The body can be formed from a single colour of yarn or two colours can be stacked together to give a light and dark body.

Body: Brown and yellow 12/0 glass seed beads with UV resin

Case: 15/0 Miyuki glass beads on UTC medium olive wire wound over squirrel dubbing
Twist a loop in the end of the copper wire and thread the beads onto the other end. After tying in the legs tie in the wire and slide the beads down to the loop while dubbing the body.
